How's my Valentine's Day?! It's just another normal day because nothing really special happened. No flowers, no serenades, no chocolates -- no boyfriend, in short. Heehee. But I ain't sulky about it. But it was somehow an extraordinary one. Wondering why I'm not at school at this time of the day?!

Oh, well, I'm sick, and I haven't gone to school since yesterday.
Last Monday, when I arrived home, I was actually planning to buy a burger because I'm hungry. Pero dahil sa nagtitipid ako, I, instead, purchased 5 kornik packs. Then after I ate it, I felt this pain in my stomach. Tolerable naman. So I was like, "Itutulog ko nalang 'tong gutom ko", hoping that the pain will fade after I sleep.
But no, my siesta time was cut - off because the pain seered into every inch of my body. I can't bear it anymore. I can't even walk straight. Hrmmm. I decided to get up and eat something.

Dinner. I can't even hold my spoon and fork steadily, and I'm shakin' like frenzy because I felt cold. Then my mom started to panic. After successfully chewing and gulping down 5 spoons of rice with my favorite lumpiang shanghai (which seemed like eternity for me...I didn't have the chance to enjoy it), we immediately left to meet my doctor.
9:30 pm. The clinic of the doctor was already closed. So we headed to the nearest hospital.
Tagal. Then finally my turn to consult the doctor came after waiting for almost an hour.
So the doctor requested me to lie down in the bed and then she started pinching my stomach at some places, then asking me if it hurts. OF COURSE, IT HURTS! C'mon! Then she had my urine and blood examined.
According to the results, I've got low blood pressure (100/60), there are more red blood cells than white blood cells, and she said that I've got bacteria both in my blood and urine. Then she even wants me to be confined in the hospital for 24 hours and I was like, "Nooo way!". So she agreed not to let me sleep in the hospital but she said that I must observe the pain, and if the pain moves to the right side, she says that maybe I'll have appendicitis.
Oh God. Appendicitis. The operation will be horrible and I'd definitely be delayed from graduating this May 2007. Then I started praying and praying (and asking help from all-known saints...haha)
Tuesday. The pain was gone. So it's definitely not Appendicitis.

We went to the clinic of doctor that I regularly go to. Good thing he's there. When he's seen the results, he said that it's soooo not Appendicitis but UTI. Pero hindi pa talaga UTI because I don't really have difficulty in peeing. So he gave me this antibiotic. Then I realized later that maybe the bacteria was triggered when I ate the salty korniks. So goodbye, my good friend SALT.
Also, I got my cough checked up and he said that it's allergic bronchitis, and he gave me some cough expectorant and anti-histamine. No patting of animals for now, and goodbye to chicken, eggs, fish, preservatives. Hello vegetables, fruits, pork & beef (eeerk!).

He also said that I've got slight anemia so he gave me some vitamins. Hay, hirap talagang magkasakit.
And now I can't help but love to sleep, sleep, and sleep.

Oh well, this is one of the Valentine's Days that I won't forget. Fin
