Damn! Almost everyone from UST-AMV College of Accountancy (the VERY STRESSED, ANXIOUS yet EXCITED examinees, emphatic alumni, proud professors, giddy parents, etc) is very thrilled to see the results of the May 2008 CPA Board Exams.
Been there done that.
To the examinees, well, brace yourselves for the results. Yeah, I know how it feels – you kept on thinking about the questions that you had difficulty answering and you guys still even bother to get your calculators and try to solve it again and again to convince yourselves that “yes, I’ve answered that question correctly”, you also kept on discussing with your fellow examinees the solutions and the approaches that you’ve employed to get to your respective answers (and heated debates are customary). Some can’t sleep, some can’t eat, some prefer to sulk all day and shut themselves inside a totally different universe, and some can’t stop wailing and whining. But you see, you’ve already finished the exam – no use of crying over spilt milk. The best way to survive the century-long (it really feels like forever even if the PRC and BOA can already release the results after a day or two) wait, I think, is by praying.
Sabi nga, nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa.
If you feel that you’ve really given your best in the exams, well, let God do the rest for you.
However, sometimes, this is the scenario…
“I gave my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough…”
Yeah, cliché and corny. But this is true. Well, maybe He’s got a plan for you.
What the F***?! Am I trying to dispirit or empower them?! So vague.
But no matter what the results are, if you believe that someday you’ll be CPA, I think that you will be.
God bless and welcome to the CPA family! Woohoo!!!
