Stressed.

10 hours of non-stop driving have already taken its toll on me.
At first, I thought that I'm gonna have a sort of one-week-vacation (
in Tagalog, Buhay Baboy) before starting on my new job. And I was soooooo wrong.
Monday. I slacked.
Tuesday, Started my driving lessons. It was pretty okay because I immediately started driving -- and the lectures/lessons are being given while you're driving (
fairview pa lang yung naikot ko). Then shopping nung gabi (
Hahaha) for office attire.
Wednesday. Went to LTO to apply for Student Permit (
Driver's License). Badtrip, offline pa sya kaya hintay pa til hapon. Then 4 hours non-stop driving ulit (
Actually walang pila sa renewal, and medyo "
white background with name tag ala-MUGSHOT), affidavit of loss, xerox or photo ng lost license (

hehehe
Friday: 4 hours non-stop driving ulit. Tas punta namang SSS para mag-apply for SSS ID.
Hayyyyyyyy...walang pahinga til Sunday! Mukha akong haggard nito sa 1st day ng new job ko! *

I've sealed the deal!

"I choose to let go of what I cannot control and have faith."Indeed,
God knows what's best for us. Ah yes, time and time again He's proved that.
A couple of months ago I've been struggling with my ultimate problem to date --
my career.
Remember my endless prattle about my dissatisfaction in my job?Yes, I admit, I have been a major
faggot.
I kept on questioning God why such misfortune has happened to me.
My boss didn't stay true to her word that she'll pay me this amount of salary, my work is okay but there's no career growth, yaddah, yaddah.Good thing everything's gonna end now.
This morning (
September 5, 2008, at around 7:50 AM), I missed a call from a landline number. Of course, I had no idea who it was, whether it was my mom or my dad using another landline phone, or a friend, or a potential employer. So when I arrived at the office I immediately called that number (
kapal...office phone pa yung ginamit) and to my surprise it is INDEED the call (
from the employer) that I have been waiting for!
Weeeeeeeee!I will see the contract this Monday and hopefully, everything goes well (
of course, the salary is a major concern). I'll just go to the office after the contract-signing and eventually pass my resignation letter on the same day.
The company? I wouldn't disclose yet until I have signed.
I AM SUPER F***ING HAPPY!!!Yes, I have encountered so many unfortunate events during job-hunting: I got to meet employers who dislike UST, my beloved Alma Mater; There are some who asked a couple of really stupid, not-work-related questions; Some rejected me because I got nervous and then stuttered; While some just don't like your mere existence. There are
mofos like that in the corporate world; You just have to toughen up and prove them wrong.
Thank you to my dear friends (
Jo, Ate Cyndi, etc.) who kept up with my endless complaints and
ka-dramahan, to my family (
and especially to my mom) who supported and believed and me, and of course, to our great
GOD who gave me this blessing.
Indeed,
he is never late and always on time. :p
And sabi ni Ate Cyndi,
"good things come to those who wait"P.S. I am super effing happy that I have passed a panel interview. Passing job interviews is fun, but doing so in a panel just adds more
pizazz to the victory!
Weeeeeeee!
Once you pop, you can't stop...

The famous tagline of one of my most favorite snacks --
PRINGLES.Yep, aside from the Original PIKNIK, PRINGLES is also a fave. Especially the sour cream flavor. I mean, who doesn't like Pringles, di ba?! It is one of P&G's most popular and most sought-after product. Heehee.
But lately, I haven't been too happy with it. Since they introduced the repackaged Pringes (
panot na si Mr. Pringles sa bagong packaging), I'd somehow say that the quality has gone downhill.
Unang-una yung packaging. As I've said earlier eh nakalbo na si Mr. Pringles. Second, mas pumayat yung cylinder na lalagyan. And third, the taste -- tumabang at parang naging nakakaumay. Super excited pa naman ako nung first time akong bumili ng repackaged Pringles tas na-disappoint ako. Eversince hindi na talaga ako bumili.
Lately, my Aunt Cora came here and alam nyang super favorite ko yung Pringles (
kapag nagpapadala sya ng package palagi akong may Pringles) kaya nag-uwi sya ng Pringles. Then nung kinain ko na, I was like,
"ETO! ETO ANG TUNAY NA PRINGLES!". Hindi sya nalalayo sa lasa ng makalumang Pringles, actually, mas malasa pa. Talagang didikit sa tastebuds mo yung sour cream sa sour cream. The best!
Then when I examined the package, I discovered that the Pringles my Aunt gave me were directly manufactured and distributed in the U.S. Then I examined the old, horrible-tasting Pringles that I last ate and discovered that it was locally made. Hay.
Ang punto: Well, we just hate Pinoys that love products made abroad than those which are made here. But hey, we really can't blame them. The quality is just not at par with the imported ones.
Too bad. Too bad para sa Pinas.
