FRIDAY, THE 13th. Wow.
Haha. What a great prelude to the overrated holiday -- Valentine's Day.
Decided NOT TO DRIVE the car today. Wala lang. Had this effing feeling that I'm super accident-prone...and decided NOT to take the chance; It's our lives (mine, Manong Leo's, and my Dad's) and the car on the line. Heehee.
Arrived at the office earlier than the usual. Just another ordinary day.
But then I remembered my dream last night.
It's not a secret that I've just recently broken my heart (yet again...palagi naman, hindi na news yan) courtesy of my ex-bf-whom-I-think-is-driven-by-revenge (decided not to go into details...hahaha) last January 18, 2009. And I've (unfortunately) dreamt of that effing guy last night. And in my dream, the cheekies (our barkada) decided to meet up this Valentine's Day and he took his NEW EFFING GIRLFRIEND with him!!! Darn it! Of course, I was super pissed (even if it was just a dream). Haha. And in my dream, the girl kept on talking and trying to befriend me. Kainis. It is totally irrational, but really, as a disgruntled ex-girlfriend who's still mooning over her ex-boyfriend but that said ex-boyfriend's committed to someone new already, NOTHING that she will ever do will be alright with me! She'll do nothing right! Hahaha. (It's a fact, ladies, agree?!)
And then I'm currently mooning over an officemate who I know wouldn't even give me a second glance. Haha. He's absent today. But yesterday, I saw him walking from the office to his house while I was riding the jeep (sakto kasi traffic kaya magkasabay lang yung speed niya sa paglalakad and sa pag-andar nung jeep). Haha. Had the chance to look at him UNINTERRUPTED while he's walking. Haha.
Anyhoo, at least God gave me some chances with them (kahit chance lang na matitigan sya ng matagal na hindi nya nalalaman, or kahit chance lang na makapag-explain sa kanya about the past, although mukhang hindi naman sya na-move sa explanations ko). Heehee.
It's not YET my time, I believe so.
Then I received this email from James (an officemate). And super sakto ng message....
*February 13, before Valentine's day, come to work wearing your heart on your sleeve...*
Wear WHITE if you are SINGLE AND LOOKING
Wear GRAY if you are NOT INTERESTED IN RELATIONSHIPS/COMMITMENTS
Wear RED if you are COMMITTED AND HAPPY
Wear BROWN if you are COMMITTED BUT YOU WANT OUT
Wear BLUE if you are IN LOVE WITH YOUR FRIEND/LIKE SOMEONE IN THE SCHOOL/OFFICE
Wear YELLOW if you are DATING/INLOVE BUT NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP
Wear GREEN if you are in a 3RD PARTY RELATIONSHIP
Wear BLACK if you are BROKENHEARTED
Wear STRIPES if you have MORE THAN ONE RELATIONSHIP
Wear PINK if you are in SAME SEX RELATIONSHIP
Wear ORANGE if you DIDN'T HAVE ANY RELATIONSHIP SINCE BIRTH
...SAKTO! I'm wearing BLUE today! Weetwiw!!! (Although mas sakto sana kung BLACK)
'Nuff said.
On the lighter side of things, my uber-funny-and-exuberant officemate James made this PowerPoint presentation. It features LOVE QUOTES applicable to each AU-Retail member. Haha. Funny yung quote na associated sa akin...palibhasa, medyo walang idea sa lovelife ko si James kaya binase nya nalang sa personality ko yung quote. Wahaha. See for yourselves. Kudos, James!!!
Well, in fairness, may date naman ako bukas. Ako ang ka-date ni Joan bukas ng umaga (tas si Kules ang ka-date nya sa gabi...ahahaha). Valentine's Day naman is not just about "romantic love". Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate all kinds of love -- parental love, brotherly/sisterly love, friendship, etc. Or it will be better if we celebrate love everyday. :p
P.S. Thanks to James for his wonderful Valentine's treat.
