Hmph. Pffft.
My South Africa work shadowing dreams have been crushed.
My teammate Diane (she'll also transfer to the new market) emailed me...
Hay. I'm broken-hearted, once again.
Well, it's not like I am DYING to work shadow (haha, di raw. Bakit kaya ako na-depress?!) . I'm just interested -- very interested actually -- because I know that it will be a great learning experience and I know that it will boost my professional profile as a CPA. Not every employee has the opportunity (and the luck) to be sent abroad by the company.
And then I realized a sad reality. When I heard the names of the people who are going, I was like, "Holy crap! These people are very knowledgeable in AR SAP...end-to-end, not to mention. And their working experiences are very rich compared to mine. I'd be an amateur when juxtaposed to these people!"
Kunsabagay, I'm not really included in the official list of work shadow-ers. Nung nalaman kong lilipat ako ng market eh may list na, di ako nakapag-express ng intention to workshadow before pa makabuo ng plan.
And of course, they'd be very choosy in picking the associates who are worthy (and READY) to work shadow. They won't be sending morons to deal with the transferring market, of course.
Well, maybe it's not really meant to be.
Hay, hay. So sad.
