The industry will forever remember Francis "Kiko" Magalona -- the great man who started "rap" music here in the Philippines.I am currently watching "Eat Bulaga" and I'm very surprised because I didn't know that he's helped a lot of people (especially kids) who are hoping to make it into the music world. He's a great influence and has touched a lot of lives. He's not just a rapper, a tv host, a vj, and a songwriter, but he's also a father to budding talented rappers who are hoping to make it in the music industry.
Ang galing. I'm not a "rap" fan but I like his songs (I consider his rap songs the "sosyal" type)
especially my cousin and I's favorite Kiko song "Mga Kababayan Ko". When I heard that he's already passed away, I immediately remembered Kiko, his music, and the happy times that I've spent with my cousin-slash-kuya while were practicing the dance steps for that song (I was only 4 and he was 6). So, kahit pala papaano eh naging part sya ng buhay ko. Haha.
Kudos to you, Kiko!!!
P.S. Ang gaganda pala ng shirt sa line nyang "3 Stars and a Sun". Lalo na yung black ones. Makabili nga. :p
