Maybe because lately, I've been overstaying at the office (due to my gym activities) or maybe because I've been going to work even on a Saturday for 3 consecutive weeks already, or maybe because I've been drinking too much coffee and my heart palpitation's getting worse, or maybe because I'm just too lethargic to do anything.
Pfft.

Thursday. James invited (or shall I say "insisted") that the gals and I watch the movie "And I Love You So". At first, I'm like, "Holy effing crap, I'm not going to spend a single penny on a Bea Alonzo movie". Haha. But then, I wanted a breath of fresh air and a change of environment, I agreed (aside from the fact that I wanted to bond with my teammates more and not get left behind with the "kwentuhan" that will happen the day after).
So yes, we proceeded to Trinoma at 3PM sharp (James, Marriane, Ann and I), went to the grocery to buy food (and made yet another "unplanned" expense -- I soooo wanted to try PureFoods-San Mig's Sizzling Sisig and I bought one!), went to KFC to buy MORE food (damn, by the end of the week I probably haven't got any money to pay for my credit card bill), and then waited for the others (Cris L, Donna, and Jen).
Well, it was okay. I don't think it was a tearjerker (it has not conquered the challenge of making me bawl like a child), though the story and the lines were quite unique. Another plus was that their "College Scene" was shot in UST, particularly in UST-AMV's view deck area (starring UST's Main Building). Haha. I missed UST!!! And the movie was quite funny!
But the heck, everyone's making fun of me, simply because some details in the movie are somewhat "connected" to my crush. First, Sam's character's name is CHRIS, then second, one of their shooting spots was in Anawangin, Zambales (ah basta, no need to explain further), and that Chris have been singing the song (same with title of the movie) for quite some time since Monday. Pfft. Asar talo.

August 22, 2009 - my dreaded "NBS Olympics" day.
Ugh, I've always hated sportsfest! And I believe people with ZERO ATHLETIC ABILITY like me will undoubtedly agree.
Today, we had an urgent meeting because we have to submit a list of participants for each game. Too bad, I was included in 100m eggplant relay (they claim that the participants in the said relay game were either "sawa sa talong" or "sabik sa talong". Haha. They categorized me in the latter.) and Eating Contest (ngayon pang hindi na ako kasing lakat kumain gaya ng dati...hay). I just hope & pray that I won't make a fool of myself by accidentally "tripping" while running (lampayatot ako, CORRECTION, lampa lang pala pero hindi payatot), hope that the foods that we'll be required to eat won't be of "fear factor" material, and hope that whatever nasty-looking/tasting food is served on that silver platter, James will be able to finish them. Haha...
MILO TEAM has raised the bar, and we definitely have to win. GO MILO TEAM! Yey!

Woot. NBS - AU Retail Team never runs out of suprises.
Last Wednesday (OverTime), I was sitting almost next to Pammy when...
Pammy: Soc, ok lang ba if papasok ka dito sa office ng Sat or Sun?
Me: Hmmm, OK lang, pero mas OK kung Sabado...
Pammy: Ano ka ba, sabi ko, either Sabado or Linggo...
Me: Bakit, anong meron?
Pammy: Kasi ikaw ang magiging approver ng orders sa Ice Cream. September to April. Ano OK lang ba?
Me: (inside my head: WTF?) Ha? Kelangan ko nabang sumagot ngayon? Nako-confuse ako!!!
Pammy: Aba, ah ewan ko sayo, kausapin mo yung boss mo...
The heck. May sorpresa nanaman si Bossing. Kahit kelan talaga, ni hindi man lang nag-abiso or nanghingi ng opinyon bago sumagot dun sa isa. Hay. Rawr.
Hay, hay...
