Shempre, on top of my daily tasks yun. So todo-overtime yun and todo kayod (kaya hindi ako nakapagbasa ng job interview tips ko eh...hehehe). Good thing I managed to pass it on time.
Then I received this response from the CI Manager:
@ Soc:
Please take note of the following revisions/additional details that has to be done on your GSTD Documentation.
@ *name of my boss*
I appreciate the work of Soc, very detailed & informative.
Waw. Nyarks.
Soooooo showbiz...

Today, at around 2:30 PM, Nestle Pantry, Pancit Canton soiree....
James: Aminin mo, Soc, nasaktan ka.....
Me: Naman, James, there's really no need to, you know, rub it on....
...hahaha...parang Kris & Ruffa lang sa Startalk....
Argh, I just hate it when people ask me how I am doing with regards to that department. I mean, c'mon, aren't things not that TOO OBVIOUS that they need to shove the ugly truth against my face for the nth time???
I understand the concern, but please, limit yourselves to the non-love department (the heck, that's the only part of my life that keeps them interested -- actually, my LACK OF IT) and puh-leez, go easy on the unsolicited.
Boooooooooooo!!!

Hehehehe...
Hehehe
At shempre, nanalo ang "katamaran" at "kaduwagan" -- last minute decision: Vacation Leave.
Hehehe =)

3:34 AM - Sunday, March 21, 2010
Haaay...Marso 22 - 26...my most-dreaded week.
Actually, Marso 23 is the most-dreaded day...nadamay lang yung buong week. LOL
The whole week's not gloomy after all, Marso 25 is a payday (sweet!).
Hay, I maybe I just have to learn how to face a ghost that, up to now, I still fear to face. Hehehe.
Good luck, good luck....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....
I've got to be kidding myself.
Before, I used to stay online (surfing the net) to read FanFics, play "Mafia Wars" & Pet Society, or browse my friends' Facebook Accounts.
Lately, I've been too lazy to do that. Too monotonous, I say.
Well, unless I've got some crazy ideas to blog about.
And then I've noticed that on my Multiply Contact lists I have some Online Shopping Sites. I checked one site and I've found a nice bag. Of course, at first I was a bit cynical about online shopping (though I am not going to use my credit cards, of course, am a bit disturbed by the "pay before shipment" condition, thinking that the seller might not send the items that I've paid for...) but then I thought, I will never know if these online shopping thingy works if I won't try. So I texted the seller, filled up the order form, and then voila, the deal was sealed. The next day I paid via G-Cash (thank God for G-Cash!) and today she texted me my tracking number. Hehehe....
And so, I started browsing other multiply shopping sites and now I am hooked!!!
Aside from the fact that you don't get to tire yourself by walking around the mall doing window-shopping (you can get the items you want in just a few clicks), some sellers have very unique stuff that you won't find in malls (imagine the horror you experience whenever you see someone wearing the same shirt you have just recently bought). But just a word of caution, be careful who you are dealing with. I believe it will still be better if you "meet up" with the seller para "kaliwaan" kayo...and check the comments of the customers about the quality of the products and service of the seller.
And it will never hurt if you google the top/most recommended multiply shopping sites (just like what I am doing at this very minute).
I've just seen a really cool headphone in a multiply gadget site (I don't think those items are sold in malls in the Philippines) so I strongly believe it's a good purchase (plus the fact that the sellers are open to "meet ups" in Trinoma Mall, very accessible). LOL
I just have to keep my vow of not buying anything worth P1,000 PhP or more. Hahaha
Avoid bankruptcy!!! (But in that way, I'll be able to refrain from using my cards via shopping malls...hehehe)
Ta!
Lesson Learned: Be careful not to say anything incriminating on Facebook...
11:57 PM - Monday, March 08, 2010
Ah Facebook . Everyone's going gaga over you.
Well, erm, you can't really blame 'em (ooopss, I mean, us -- myself included).
The apps are cool.
Hooray! Your long lost friend has a facebook account (he/she didn't bother with friendster, so long-lost na long-lost...).
Sparks fly when you discover that your high school crush (and you're still, somehow, mooning over him) is still single. Or is single already. Heehee...
It sucks when you see your ex & his/her new beau's pictures while on vacation. Poof.
Pictures, pictures, pictures galore! You just can't help yourself and you keep on tagging. Haha
And of course....
...you never fail to post a mind-boggling, attention-seeking, controversy-steering status message.
I know you're guilty. Haha
Yes, yes, the delights of Facebook.
It's great when you are able to express yourself (via your status messages), right?
And it is even more liberating when people give their two cents on it.
Whether they agree with you, or argue with you, still, it is fun.
However, be careful.
As said in the Miranda Warning: You have the right to remain silent; Everything you say can be/will be used against you. (tama nga ba???)
Unfair as it may seem, these status messages can be or WILL BE used against you.
At school, at work, you name it. These status messages reflect you & your emotions, and some people are exploitative enough to use something personal as Facebook status message inorder to get back at you, use you, or plainly, just to get on your nerves.
NOTE: Be careful especially when your boss is on your friends list.
Take my team mate for example. He's a joker, very blunt -- and he kept on joking around about applying for another job/having a job interview later that day or tomorrow. Well, partly, he's to blame, kasi medyo garapal. Hehe
So fact established: he's applying for another job. So he's praying & hoping, and he wasn't able to contain himself -- he posted something about it (stat message) on Facebook. Shempre, everyone commented, everyone has seen the thing -- including some team leads from our company. Then an *anonymous* team lead told our team leader, "may Facebook ka ba? Magbasa ka nga ng FB ng mga tao mo". My boss is not really into social networking (she never bothered with Friendster so why would she bother with FB???), so what she did was borrow her cousin's FB profile, added a teammate of mine on the friend list and then pow -- she now has access to everything.
And that is not the end of it. The same teammate of mine was called by our Department Manager for some harsh, thorough verbal beating (LOL...exaggerating. Hehe). Well, harsh kasi I noticed that his words are really "harsh" (and oozing with sarcasm, if I may add) and my teammate was really affected (and demotivated).
Basta, I will not expound on it nalang....
And I am at a loss...
Do they really have the right to reprimand their employees because of what they posted on FB? I mean, the employee did not surf FB during office hours while at the office (so there's no improper use of company resources),. Second, if the statement is very broad, does not use very foul/derogatory words, and there's no name-dropping, I think people should not jump into conclusions and should not bother with those statements. And I personally think that FB is such a personal thing, in the sense that you can say whatever you want.
Kinda reminds me of the Indonesian student who got kicked out (I think) because he said something foul against his Music Teacher. Well, in my officemate's case, he didn't say anything foul, he sort of said na he's not happy with something anymore (very broad yung statement) and siguro, na-relate nila sa jokes niya about resigning, so mega-ganun naman ang manager.
And besides, I think that the (ideal) conversation between bosses and an employee/staff who is thinking of resigning (lalo na kung may potential) should be like, "why are you thinking of resigning? what are the factors that contributed to your decision? what are the problems that you have encountered? How do you think this company can improve on this problem?" blah, blah, yaddah, yaddah, and not like, "are you going to proceed with your external applications? Para maayos ko na yung listahan ko ng staff ko and hindi na kita isasama kung sakali". Tsk tsk.
Lesson Learned: Be careful not to say anything incriminating on Facebook...
P.S. Good thing my Multiply Blog is for FRIENDS/CONTACTS ONLY. And good thing I have few officemates on my friends list here (mga hindi pa aktibo...hahaha)

...God comes through to save the day!!!
Ah, I love Him. And now I know that He loves me too. Hehehe
March 3, 2010. I had to pay my HSBC Mastercard bill. PhP1,200 yun, eh PhP2,100 nalang ang laman ng Payroll Account ko (yes, grabe naghihikahos talaga ako ngayon...due to unfortunate circumstances...) pero no choice, I have to pay.
Paano ako mabubuhay for the next 22 days???"
My Knight in Shining Armor comes to my rescue.

Red Letter Day indeed. Received some good news via snail mail.
Though it is still unsure, there's no harm in trying.
And made an effort to update my freakin' CV. Hahaha. Hooray.
So NOTE TO SELF: Go, go, go!!!
